Based in the bush capital and led by Ned Oreskovic, our nimble team of craftspeople works with a range of Australian and international timbers. Blackbutt, spotted gum, American oak, to name a few. Each species has its own personality and is completely unique in its functionality. Some are dense and sturdy. Others bend and flex. We read the grain, the colour and the character to get the best of each.

Our team is committed to lifting the quality and visibility of timber craftsmanship in the Canberra region. We believe the local construction industry needs more craft, not more mass-produced. Timber is more than a building material. Where some see utility, we see beauty and personality. In place of sharp lines and synthetic finishes, it brings tactility, warmth and life to spaces at risk of feeling cold or flat.

No matter how complex the ask, our ambition is to bring to life ideas that seem just beyond reach

We take on the tricky, the technical, and the time-consuming work because the results matter, forming each piece with care to meet the highest visual and structural standards.

Timber teaches us, challenges us, and shapes the way we think, guiding us to push the boundaries of what can be built. We consider the unexplored, with every finish a thoughtful choice. Born of patience and precision, each outcome feels grounded, refined and resolved.

We acknowledge the First Peoples of Australia, their Elders past, present and emerging. We pay our respects to the traditional storytellers, designers, artists and owners of the land on which we live and work.
