From quiet nooks in private quarters to extravagant features in high-profile institutions, some briefs hold weight while others turn heads. We partner with architects, builders, homeowners and organisations to understand timber’s place within a space. Structurally, visually, and emotionally.

Our workshop is where design thinking and traditional techniques come together. Whether we’re refining the sweep of a steep spiral staircase or defining the span of a double-storey door, each decision requires creative thinking and careful planning.

Design & Sample

We collaborate early to understand the design intent. We keep an open mind to new techniques, say yes to the most challenging jobs, and hold ourselves to the highest standards, no matter the size or complexity. This stage may include drawings, samples, mockups or trial assemblies to test ideas and refine details.

Manufacture & Construction

Each component is created in-house using a range of tools – roughed out on the bandsaw, refined with routers, and finished by hand with shaping tools passed down through generations. Those that once belonged to Ned’s grandfather carry a legacy of craft, reminding the team of the value in slowing down and doing the job right. With care, even the simplest tools can produce intricate, beautiful forms. Complemented by traditional techniques, CNC machining is also available on request.

On-site Installation & Finishing

We install with the same care we bring to the workshop, ensuring each element fits precisely within its final setting. Every detail is attended to, including aligning joints and smoothing surfaces, to create a seamless fit designed to stand the test of time.
